On June 12, 2008, Firefighters Donnelly, Hollner, Smith, and Spinner participated in an intensive eight-hour course at FIRE 2008, the annual training event in Lake George, NY hosted by the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs.
Get Out Alive, presented by Battalion Chief John Salka Jr. of the FDNY, teaches Firefighters personal survival tactics such as wall breaching, window rope sliding, and rapid ladder bail techniques.
