'Developed and written by students, the Nationwide Prom Promise challenges young people to consider the consequences-prior to prom night-of drug or alcohol use to help avoid impulsive and possibly regretful consequences.'
On April 24th and 25th, 2008, Students Against Destructive Decisions and a number of law enforcement and fire agencies simulated several traffic accidents caused by driving under the influence of alcohol at Shenendehowa High School East.
